Discovering Together

The Cuyahoga County Fatherhood Initiative and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum have partnered together to bring Discovering Together, a program encouraging fathers and their children to visit the museum and discover a new hobby together.

Fathers and their children who visit the Rock Hall can participate in self-guided activities that lead them through discovering a new hobby through exploring the museum together.  Special guides can be found here on the Fatherhood Initiative website, or at the Rock Hall’s Welcome Kiosk.  Using the special guides, fathers and their children will start in the Rock Hall’s new Garage exhibit where they can pick up real instruments and learn to play together, create their own Garage Band name and create a sticker to remember the experience.

Then tour the rest of the museum which includes the new “Play it Loud: Instruments of Rock & Roll” exhibit, and learn about the history and stories of rock & roll.

Visitors who live in Cleveland can take advantage of free admission through the CLE VIP Program or Cuyahoga County residents who live outside the City of Cleveland can get discounted NEO resident admission. For questions about this program contact the Fatherhood Initiative office: 216-348-3967, or Kathryn Clusman, Manager of Community and Family Programs at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum: 216-515-1225.
